About Me

My name is Emily Micallef, and I’m 20 years old. I’m currently in my first year of a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism Production at MCAST, where I am developing and strengthening my skills in visual storytelling. I’m passionate about creating meaningful content and exploring the power of media to inform and inspire.

I love travelling and have been fortunate enough to visit countries such as England, Italy, Sicily, Serbia, and Greece. These experiences have broadened my perspective and shaped the way I view current affairs. I plan to channel these insights into writing about politics, as well as both local and international events, sharing thoughtful reflections and informed opinions.

For the past six months, I have been working as a content creator at Ramla Bay Resort, where I manage their social media platforms and produce engaging photo and video content. This role has allowed me to combine creativity with strategy while gaining hands-on experience in digital media.

Outside of my studies and work, I enjoy watching movies and spending quality time with the people who matter most to me, including my family, friends, and my boyfriend, Nikola.
